Status of Tier 2

Hello, I recently played your game for several hours (approximately 8 straight) the other day, and was unable to figure out how to achieve Tier 2. Has this been activated yet? We can see the characters in the kings court, and able to get the tier 2 changes, but the "click for a surprise" function is not working.  Any information on this would be great.

Also, the Discord link in the game is inactive.
